309. 他向兔子开了枪，但还是让它逃脱了。

[误] He shot the rabbit but it managed to escape.

[正] He shot at the rabbit but it managed to escape.

注：shot 单独用有“射中”或“射死”的意思，用在这里显然前后矛盾。又如：She shot the wolf jumping on her（她射死了扑向她的狼）。shot at 才表示“朝......瞄准”，而不管是否射中。
